Is the local path really free?

Yes. The SDK, runner, verifiers, connectors and CLI install from npm under Apache-2.0 and run entirely in your own infrastructure. You can verify outcomes end to end without the hosted control plane, and without paying us anything.

Where does my data live?

Verification runs in your environment with your credentials. The hosted control plane receives redacted lifecycle events, allowed evidence, contract metadata and traces. Prompt, response and tool-argument capture is disabled by default; if you opt in, configure redaction before exporting content. Provider credentials stay local.
